Bambú Cafe and Events is a restaurant, resort, and events place rolled into one owned by the Arayata family. The place used to be a family rest house for the Arayata family, where they spend their vacation and holidays together peacefully and privately. Later on, they decided to open it up for the public, and so the Bambú Cafe and Events was born.
One of the highlights of Bambú Cafe and Events is the Bambú Cafe. Its owner and chef is Abe Arayata, and the restaurant specializes in Filipino and Asian cuisine. Chef Abe has a partner chef, and he is Chef Ariel Atienza, a local chef who has experience working at a 5-star hotel in Saudi Arabia. What I like with Bambú is that they cook your food right after you order to ensure that you are getting a freshly cooked food. The recipes are from Chef Abe’s mom and grandmother, took inspiration on it and then started tweaking it a little. Bambú’s best sellers are the Crispy Pata, Tahong Sisig, Pininyahang Chicken Adobo, Garlic Rose Mary Pork Ribs, and Kalabasa Cheesecake. Chef Abe described his food as simple when it comes to taste and plating, but what makes it different is that it has a rich and flavorful taste that you will surely love.
Aside from the cafe and restaurant, Bambú is also a resort and an events place that can cater to any occasion. It is spacious, so it is recommended for team buildings, corporate meetings, birthday parties, and mini concert. It could be a perfect destination for weddings too because the place is romantic and serene, perfect for couples who like to celebrate their special day in a garden theme wedding. The whole place is surrounded by bamboos, planted by the Arayata family itself. The resort is still on-going construction, but they already have some fully-airconditioned rooms you can book and a swimming pool you can enjoy. They plan to add more amenities in the future, so if you are aiming for a serene vacation, then Bambú is a good choice. Aside from that, they have a mini chapel and covered area that can accommodate up to 350 persons sitting.
If you want to escape the bustling city, but you don’t have enough time to travel, then Bambú Cafe and Events is the place to be. It is a one hour drive from Metro Manila, and I am sure you will have a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
